The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to your community.
SASSA will likely be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency claimed it really is alarmed with regards to the large number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This really is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office dedicated to service the area on a daily basis. The services place developed for intervention activities a high influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes it tough to the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more assets to help the servicing of all customers and boost use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
